It’s not possible to be a 100% nice person in every single respect.
Because being honest can be “mean”.
But lying is also mean, isn’t it?
So white lies are mean, because they’re still lies and they still hurt.
But aren’t white lies also being fake?
And it goes on.
I am always so conflicted when it comes to things like this. I think honesty ranks highest to me, though. And unfortunately, because of that, a lot of people who don’t know me well assume I’m just a hateful bitch. Which I’m really the opposite. I’m positive and friendly. I suppose my flaws include me getting very annoyed when people complain about something they chose to not do the right way and that I am extremely defensive.
We’re all imperfect. Just stop the hate.

I believe honesty is the best policy, but also that tact decides if that “honesty” is more hurtful or more helpful :)

I’m painfully honest as well and don’t care what people think. I always want the honest truth, so I give it to people.

However there is a difference between being honest, and being an asshole.
