Been drinking dandelion tea twice a day and drinking a ton of water thanks to this new Brita water bottle. It honestly makes me drink more water because of the straw. I would highly recommend getting yourself one if you have trouble getting enough hydration (It’s around 22 oz and I think it was $16 at Target). My huge 32 oz water bottle has a big mouth and I’ve easily spilled it on myself trying to drink and walk simultaneously. Seriously… For some reason I tend to drink more water when I have it in a cup or in a small-mouthed bottle. Haha. But I feel great! I have a little more energy! I know the hydration itself has got to play a role in this, though I’m wondering if the dandelion tea is actually working for me! I guess I’ll find out since I’m gonna end up running out in a day or so.
On another note… I think I may be gluten sensitive. My stomach has felt funky the few times I’ve eaten something with gluten after I’ve been trying not to. Hmm…
One down, one to go. Happy Thirsty Thursday! Choose to drink water instead of alcohol. #water #hydration #thirstythursday #healthy #fit

Probably seems like something silly and obvious to say, right?
… But this is one of those things where it’s so obvious that almost no one realizes just how good of an idea it really is. So why not give it a try?!
Drew gave me this tip when we were randomly talking about drinking water (Since we both drink at 64oz each day, if not more!)
On that note, here’s a bonus tip! Get a buddy to help you remember your goals. It’s great to have both of you go towards the same goal because you can keep each other in check!

This is a fantastic idea! I may just mark up my water jug to keep even better track!

Researchers at the University of Connecticut’s Human Performance Laboratory recruited 25 young, healthy women who exercised for less than an hour a day. The participants were hydrated the night before each of the three evaluations where they were tasked to walk on a treadmill to induce dehydration. They were also put through a battery of cognitive experiments that measured vigilance, concentration, reaction time, learning, memory, and reasoning. Their scores were then compared against a separate series of tests when the individuals were not dehydrated.
Hydration time! I love my 2L jug. I carry it with me everywhere. People look at me funny, but I don’t care! It’s a whole day’s worth of water, so I can gauge how much to drink at one time.
I drank my full 2 liter bottle of water today! Woohoo! Been peeing like a champ…
Gotta drink all of this. I actually drank all the water I needed to yesterday haha
